About Jo

For as long as Jo can remember she’s loved making, creating and exploring different crafts. Teaching allowed her to bring this into the classroom through a creative learning environment and share her ideas, but following the birth of her second child, Jo decided to leave teaching and develop her skills further.

Access to art and design diploma gave Jo a wide insight into areas such as ceramics, 3D design, textiles and print. From this she continued to develop these skills and moved into a mixed media approach to figurative art.

Jo takes inspiration from her family, her home in Yorkshire and the village she grew up in on the outskirts of York.
